Chef Kara’s culinary career began early on, inspired by deep family roots and their love and respect for quality and tradition.

After graduating from the International Culinary Center in New York City, Kara sought opportunities to further develop her own creativity in the kitchen.

It was through joining the Culinary Team at Pocono ProFoods and administering chef demos for area restaurants where Kara developed and refined her culinary techniques, under the tutelage of Doug Petruzzi, CEC AAC.
This, combined with a love of entertaining and travel, has allowed Kara to share her experiences with others through food.

Always updating and elevating her understanding of her guests needs, Kara expanded her culinary offerings from once a month chef demos to full-scale classes and dinners, ranging from The Art of Risotto and Julia Childs Boeuf Bourguignon to Modern Lebanese and Classic American Summer Dinners. Chef Kara is also available for private events including rehearsal dinners, micro weddings, and children and adult birthday parties.
